YEDIS Receives Recognition at the UN Virtual Worlds Day 2026

The Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS) is proud to share that its Chief Executive Officer, Rafiu Olaore, has received a Certificate of Participation from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in recognition of his valuable expertise and participation at the 3rd UN Virtual Worlds Day, held on 11–12 May 2026.

This international recognition reflects YEDIS’ growing contribution to global conversations on digital innovation, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, digital inclusion, and sustainable development.

Through its programmes and initiatives, YEDIS remains committed to empowering young people, women, and rural communities with the knowledge, digital skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Rafiu Olaore’s participation in both the 2nd UN Virtual Worlds Day (Turin, Italy, 2025) and the 3rd UN Virtual Worlds Day (2026) demonstrates his sustained engagement in global discussions on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, virtual worlds, and inclusive innovation.

Through his leadership of YEDIS, he continues to advocate for the responsible application of emerging technologies to advance youth development, digital capacity building, entrepreneurship, agriculture, and sustainable development in Nigeria and beyond.

As YEDIS continues to promote innovation-driven development and digital inclusion, this milestone further strengthens the organization’s resolve to contribute to building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities.
