I am Rafiu Olaore, Executive Director at Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS) in Nigeria.
YEDIS is a youth-focused NGO that promotes entrepreneurship education, youth employment, gender equality and sustainable community development.
YEDIS recommendation includes,
United Nations should emphasize Entrepreneurship Education and skills development because they are fundamental to achieving SDGs.
Advancing entrepreneurship education initiatives and developing practical skills will prepare the incoming generation for future challenges and sustainable growth.
Enhancing digital literacy skills and capacity-building for underserved youth will foster meaningful employment, peace and prosperity.
The direct partnership of the United Nations with grassroots NGOs for the effective delivery of social and humanitarian services will facilitate productivity and good outcomes.
Equal representation of marginalized and underserved youth at the decision-making level will create a sense of belonging and promote inclusive development.
