In his remark, Rafiu Olaore, Executive Director of YEDIS, articulated several essential components for fostering business growth, particularly for those in the hairstyling sector. He highlighted the significance of structured mentoring, advanced educational opportunities, collaborative teamwork, innovation, and the establishment of a supportive business ecosystem. Olaore urged the women and girls involved in hairstyling, as well as other stakeholders, to integrate sustainable practices into their operations and to remain alert to potential risks that could result in operational disruptions or financial losses.

During the distribution of electric hair dryer machines, he underscored the necessity of electrical safety, particularly concerning fire hazards. He recommended that all participants equip their salons with appropriate fire extinguishers and implement strategies to enhance fire awareness, given the reliance on electrical equipment in their workflows.

Since the formation of the organization in February 2020, a series of humanitarian assistance have been carried out by YEDIS, among them are;
