YEDIS Board of Directors congratulate five members of the Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS) on earning certificates in Social Standards from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria, between September and December 2025. This achievement was supported by The World Bank, the Federal Government of Nigeria and the National Universities Commission, Nigeria. YEDIS emphasises capacity building and leadership development within its team to foster meaningful contributions to social progress at local, national, and global levels.
After weeks of training, which included lectures, group work, essays, and examinations, the institutions awarded certificates to the participating members: Mr Patrick Adeyemi Ilori, Mrs Adebayo Mary Funmi, Mrs Oyeniyi Oluwakemi Mutiyat, Miss Kabirah Olaore, and Mrs Ayeni Dunmade Bukola. These training programmes enhanced their skills and have equipped them to serve effectively in the following areas:

* Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)
* Land Acquisition, Displacement, and Resettlement
