On September 25, 2024, a significant discourse occurred at the Journalists and Writers Foundation’s (JWF) 9th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Conference, In the Margins of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) at the Grand Ballroom, 630 Second Avenue, New York, USA. The discussion comprised three panels centered on themes: 1. “Summit of the Future: Revitalizing the Pact of the Future”; 2. “Information Integrity on Digital Platforms and Mainstream Media”; and 3. “Transforming an Inclusive Global Governance.”
During the event, Rafiu Akinpelu Olaore, CEO of the Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS), had the opportunity to present the YEDIS Initiatives, emphasizing digital rural entrepreneurship and advocating for global attention to meaningful youth employment to ensure that no one is left behind.
The Journalists and Writers Foundation (JWF) co-organized the conference with 56 Global Partners from 30 countries on September 25, 2024.
