IYD 2024: Bridging the Gender Digital Gap and Enhancing Youth Employability by Rafiu Olaore

On the 17th of August 2024, Dr Rafiu Olaore, the CEO of YEDIS, participated as a Distinguished Panel Speaker at the observance of International Youth Day 2024. The event was hosted by the Strong Enough Girls’ Empowerment Initiative (SEGEI) in Abuja and The Tribe Africa. The 2024 International Youth Day theme is “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.” Rafiu Olaore delivered a presentation on “Bridging the Gender Digital Gap and Enhancing Youth Employability.”

YEDIS is an NGO with a grassroots focus on youth advancement, gender parity, and communal progress. The organization is recognized for its collaborative approach, which involves engaging relevant NGOs, private-sector entities, and academic institutions to propel youth employment and foster economic development.
