Over the years, girls and women have been marginalized in underdeveloped societies; they frequently have minor or no roles to play and receive less education. Women’s psychological makeup and reproductive responsibility can be linked to these obstacles that women confront because their strength and energy cannot be compared to men’s; they perceive them as helpless individuals who need assistance, which has made society undervalue their capacity and ability to contribute to economic development.
Women are naturally empathetic and emotional, preventing them from playing specific roles defined by society. Since they are destined to procreate, they have been denied the opportunity to engage in other activities except for domestic work, where they can only provide for the needs of their husband and children.
All of these principles undermine the roles played by women, causing them to miss out on several opportunities.
Despite their fragility, skills development, quality education, scholarships and provision of business grants, and creation of women-specified roles and opportunities will contribute to creating a society where women are free from all forms of discrimination and are lifted out of economic servitude.
I am a beneficiary of YEDIS, thanks for your support. My business is now doing well.
