It is with great honor that we announce the election of Mr. Rafiu Akinpelu Olaore, Founder of the Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS), as the representative for Western and Central Africa in the World Bank Group – International Monetary Fund Civil Society Policy Forum Working Group for the term 2024 to 2026.
This position entails a voluntary commitment over the next two years, during which Mr. Olaore will actively engage in the development of the Civil Society Policy Forum during both the Spring and Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
YEDIS is a non-governmental organization headquartered in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. The organization is committed to promoting entrepreneurship education, enhancing employment opportunities for youth, and fostering sustainable community development.
